Tarl, Adrienne, Beckham, Lucy, and Griffin
The Reeves are BBFI missionaries and minister in Greater London as church planters.
After graduating from the Missions program at Baptist Bible College (now Missions University), we both knew we wanted to be church planters in an urban European setting.
We completed a 3-year internship at Orlando Baptist Church in 2005, and took our survey trip to London in 2007. Upon returning from this trip, the Lord began to place a burden upon our hearts for this city.
We arrived in southeast Greater London in August of 2011.
While getting acclimated to the culture, we assisted a burgeoning church plant alongside another missionary couple in need of help. During this time we participated in discipleship, leadership training, and learning and observing British church ministry.
Starting in 2013, the Reeves began focusing on church replanting and revitalization in southeast Greater London. Tarl pastored a struggling church in New Cross and then went on to bring pastoral guidance to a disadvantaged church in Bermondsey. Tarl is currently pastoring and ministering at a church replant and revitalization project in Welling. This church was closed for two years and on the verge of closing its doors permanently before we arrived. We are in the process of establishing this church through teaching Biblical truths and Baptist doctrine. You can learn more about this church work at wellingchurch.com.
As Londoners are saved, it is our desire to see them reach out to those around them with the Gospel, pastor their own churches, and send out their own missionaries around the world.
Tarl and Adrienne have three incredible kids: Beckham who is 19 years old, Lucy who is 16, and Griffin who is 14.
